RE: what was the reason Fauci was connected to the lab in Wuhan?

His National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease research FUNDED the research of the Wuhan labs on the Coronavirus to the tune of nearly 4 million dollars. Fauci backed the funding.

Of course this is in order to find possible treatments or cures for SARS and bat coronaviruses. I believe his intentions were good but NAIVE.

Good question!

Uncanny similarity of unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV spike protein to HIV-1 gp120

"The finding of 4 unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV, all of which have identity /similarity to amino acid residues in key structural proteins of HIV-1 is unlikely to be fortuitous in nature"

"I pointed to some recent Trump comments in a recent post where Trump almost seemed to inadvertantly say what he already knows but can't say right now. This is what it sounded like he was about to say."

Yes. We watch every live event, he's walked it right up twice in the past month and stopped. And got real close last night in Sanford, which featured a longer China piece than anything else this October.

Thanks. Maybe it's me, but Fauci just seems too much like a weasel to trust.

The idea of giving American Taxpayer's dollars to a chicom lab, particularly one suspected of developing bioweapons, is pure insanity, but I'm sure it had to be under the 0bama/Biden regime.

I for one am sick and tired of any discussion of this stupid bug

This stupid bug , which is definitely not even as bad as the flu. is simply one out of a family of about 10 coronavirus is an already has 8 different mutations

It’s very clear that all of the world greatly overreacted to this and acted stupidly with all these lockdowns and stupid politicians are just trying to keep exercising their power over the populace

Anthony Fauci sponsored the gain-of-function experiment that resulted in the pandemic.

It is possible that it escaped accidentally. I don’t believe that, but let’s just say for the sake of argument that it did.

OK, so when it “escaped” and the Chinese realized that their people in Wuhan were infected, they closed down all access to and from the city - EXCEPT they let people fly OUT of the city’s airport to the US and other Western locations (notably Italy). So even if it “escaped,” the rat bastards used that opportunity to completely screw the rest of the world. Meanwhile, they used exceptionally brutal means in order to stop the spread in Wuhan, something that the West could never do because of the nature of our society - and the Chinese KNEW that for a certainty.

Here’s what I believe actually happened:

The escape was no accident. After Trump took away their very lucrative gig of selling everything that they could make (including poisoned goods and foodstuffs), while having to buy only a few things from the West, they decided to accomplish 2 goals by releasing the virus: first, simple revenge - we impacted their economy, so they decided to do the same (or worse) to ours; second, by helping to end our economic expansion and make us enter a severe recession, they hoped to make Trump lose the election. The rest of the scenario above followed. They HAD to be seen to suffer from the virus, to make it look like an accident, so that we couldn’t accuse them of committing not just an act of war, but crimes against humanity. Well, regardless of how it looked, in my opinion that is exactly what the rat bastards did. We should find a way to totally screw them over commercially, leading to their own severe recession, and hope that their populace revolts just like the Soviet people did roughly 30 years ago after that Communist shithole basically went bankrupt. Xi and his genocidal maniac co-conspirators deserve no less.

Could be why the Pentagon released PR on America’s new, very stealthy subs just as POTUS was hospitalized.

We also sent up Doomsday planes on both coasrs.

There has been a lot of training overflights in Central WI for about 6-8 weeks, some complete with sonic booms.

We’re ready.

Isn’t that an oxymoron?

It's an excellent idiom! I'm stealing it!

“Online rebuttals to Yan’s work have also come out, including one recently featured in The Federalist, which took a skeptical tone to Yan’s claims.”

Everything in this paper was postulated and discussed on FR back in March and April. The authors of this paper just figured it out recently.

"We should accept that the outbreak originated from an accidental release."

That is, to quote the late General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, "Bovine scatology."

I have followed this from the initial outbreak in Wuhan. Every characteristic of this virus- its "behavior" and its pattern from initial isolated outbreak to global spread- stank to high heaven of being man-made and intentionally-released. The economic and geopolitical quandary in which the CCP found itself at the time of the outbreak makes it even more suspect. And everything the CCP and their little bitch the WHO said and did after the initial outbreak was intended to delay our response and facilitate the global spread of the virus. EVERY. THING.

The CCP sensed it was losing its economic hegemony and political leverage over the world and felt the need to do something to regain their dominance. What better way to regain control than to cripple the global economy at a single stroke? And what more efficient means exists to accomplish this end (and even corner the market on PPE and pharmaceuticals in the process) than to create a pandemic?

If you think that this is a bit of a stretch, then I invite you to consider the nature and history of communism (and the Chinese Communist Party in particular). Also consider the mountains of corpses that both the philosophy in general and the CCP in particular now stand atop in order to get a better view of the world that they seek to conquer.

The CCP is not at all squeamish about destroying millions of Chinese (and enslaving millions more) just to make a point. Why would they hesitate to murder millions of people around the world if it improves their grip on global economy and policy?

But if doubt remains regarding the evil, deceit, malice, and true intent of the CCP, then consider their actions after the outbreak went global . The CCP directed its global surrogates to buy up and hoard (or send to China) all the PPE and medical equipment that they could lay hands on. At the same time, the CCP was attempting to present themselves as the world's saviors through the "magnanimous" and "benevolent" gesture of rushing PPE and medical equipment to desperate nations around the world.

Defective PPE and equipment, that is.

Do not be deceived: The CCP has no intention of helping the global democracies that it has every intention to destroy. Thus far, everything the CCP have said and done regarding this crisis has been malicious, deceptive, counterproductive, and outright threatening.

This was no accident.

I still liked how the wuhan lab magically moved overnight on google maps from 900 foot or so from the market that was blamed to fifteen miles away...

Totally agree...
The question is how good is their lab security now and what else are they brewing that could escape. This is a worse scenario than intentional release because of the unknowns.

I’ve long thought that the evidence pointed to a lab-created virus, that could well have begun as “civilian” research. But in China, EVERYTHING is dual-use. If the virus looked promising as even a research level bioweapon, the CCP would not hesitate to seize on it and use it as such.

The pathogen meets the PLA’s definition of a bioweapon in its current condition: it is airborne, easily transmissible, and capable of causing serious disruption and confusion to the enemy. (That would be us, natch.)

Some questions I have that follow from that include:
1) why was there an urgent effort in the West to claim this was naturally occuring? (Is the CCP working this angle?)
2) The MSM immediately recognized this as a weapon to use against the candidate most hostile to the CCP. Is that just their natural inclination, or is there more to it?
3) If the CCP did in fact develop or recognize this virus as weaponizable, what do they have in the queue next? In other words, if they could engineer this, with its narrow focus and relatively low lethality, do they have something that’s similar, except with serious effects on healthy people?
