Pope Francis on Saturday issued an urgent call to action to defend the planet and help the poor in his second TED talk. [ ]
We have just a few years scientists calculate roughly fewer than 30 to drastically reduce the emissions of gas and the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere, the pope said, adding that the transition needs to take into account the impact on the poor, local populations and those who work in the energy sector.
He called on investors to exclude companies that do not taking into account the environment, as have many faith-based organizations already have.
In fact, the earth must be taken care of, cultivated and protected; we cannot continue to squeeze it like an orange. And we can say this: taking care of the Earth is a human right, Francis said.

And so it would itty on to like the end of the world, round and round and round like old Bog Himself (by courtesy of Korova Milkbar) turning and turning and turning a vonny grahzny orange in his gigantic rookers. A Clockwork Orange, chapter 21Old droogie Francis is up to his old tricks again.
So now we have 30 years? I thought it was 10 or 12 or...? Thanks for the heads up, you genius super-scientist.
Earth is not an orange, and the Pope is not Who he thinks he is.
Nice analogy, Frank. Let’s be frank, Frank
Face - WORDS - Deeds
Keep talking, Ted.
“the pope said, adding that the transition needs to take into account the impact on the poor, local populations and those who work in the energy sector.”
Exactly the ones hurt most ... unless money is redistributed.
Yes, but YOUR version of the truth can, as well as your demonic tendencies. Worship Gaia much?
Wow, he’s the expert on everything!
Then maybe this parasite can do the honors and eff himself.
That turkey is waaaay past his expiration date......
I’m sure Comrade Pope will free up some of the trillions from the Church’s treasure box to make it happen.
If the Pope really wants to do something about the planet & the poor, he should watch the movie “Kiss the Ground”. Yes, there is plenty of talk of climate change, yes there are actors in it; however, it makes total sense & is well put together. It’s a movement I’m already supporting (before I saw the movie).
Abundant food, returning the earth to an “eden”, reducing carbon by regenerating it through the soil & animals (like cows!!) .... terrific movie and worth your time. Lays out the case/plan very clearly.
The movie is showing on Netflix. Here’s the website:

Were the Cardinals Drunk on Drugs or having an Orgy when they picked this guy ?
The pope speaks from his inner Greta Thunberg.
I think God has a pretty good handle on just what the earth is capable of handling....afterall, He made it.
Good to hear that the Pope endorses fracking and nuclear power.
Focus on the things you’re supposed to know about, Francis.
He doesn't even know that.
If it’s based on a lie, then it’s not going to make sense.
When I first discovered TED talks, I was very enthusiastic about them, but after watching a few, I came to the conclusion that they were just for Leftists to stroke each other with.
When does this Pope talk about the Bible?
