SHELBYVILLE, Mich. — A Michigan county sheriff defended the men arrested in a plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, including a member of the group he appeared with on a stage at a rally earlier this “I haven’t read everything up on it, I’ve got other duties to do, it wasn’t our investigation," Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf told WXMI. “I was shocked, did not see this coming with those guys, but still we can’t convict them in the media here, they do have a right to a fair trial.”
Leaf was a speaker at a rally in May protesting Whitmer’s stay-at-home order because of the coronavirus. William Null, one of the men charged in the plot, can be seen on stage standing alongside Leaf.

My son and mother in law live in Barry County. A few months ago I met Sheriff Dar Leaf at a speech he gave. I told him I’d be in Michigan soon and asked if I could buy him lunch.
A few weeks later we met for lunch and had a great conversation. (He bought).
You can’t possibly blame him cause some knuckledragger anarchists showed up at his speech.
I know another guy who was also there and happened to be standing next to the scum and is being shown on tv. He’s pretty peeved.
He’s a true constitutionalist.

Those on the left can’t reason in this way. All they know is the hate they feel.
That’s because doing so makes it appear that they are capable of preventing something for “special people”.
