A home in Fort Lauderdale is severely damaged after a crane toppled over on top it.
It happened in the 1900 block of NE 57th Street on Friday around noon.
Video from Chopper 4 shows the crane collapsed onto the roof and the cab turned over on its side.
There are reports of at least one minor injury but its not know whether the person is the crane operator or someone in the house.
This is a developing story and will be updated as much information is made available.

Reminds me of that episode of Gomer Pyle where he parks Sgt. Carter’s car next to a demolition site and the wrecking ball comes down on it.

I just suggest nobody hire a crane in Florida. A bit harsh that. Maybe no hiring cranes in Democratic-infested Florida Counties? Fort Lauderdale is in Broward County which, with Palm Beach and Miami-Dade Counties, are the center of our New York Democratic recidivists.

Okay, but any cranes near Del Boca Vista Phase II have to be approved by the condo association, Jack Klompus, president.

“Ouch! Looks like a fairly new roof, too.”
Soon to be an even newer roof.
