This is the best thing I’ve read today. What a beautiful bird!

Kind of rooster? Sure, it’s a Roadapple Red.
I had a hen for a couple of years, came with the house.
Not a good idea to let one in the house though. messy.

Looks like a Seabright. They are bantams and don’t come in regular size chickens. Really pretty birds.

That’s a perfect description. My big tom, his name is Spanky, is pretty aloof as he patrols his realm

I doubt it. I’ve never seen my dogs eat chicken poop. Chickens can’t be potty trained. So, that would be a Hell No at my house.

Whenever I see a city-slicker letting Rover lick their face, I just snicker! Dogs DO snack on chicken poop from time to time. Oh, and don’t forget the cat-poop cupcakes that Rover likes! So lick ‘em up and down Rover. Should improve their immunity system!

great lookin bird- Our neighbors raised some chickens, used to let em roam free- and the female would come over every day and hang out with my dad till evening, follow him all over, sit next to him during day etc- then go home in the evening- it was pretty cool till it decided to hop into the family vehicle and use it as a latrine

Judging by his fantastic coloration, Ronnie is not your run of the mill rooster.
My initial reaction is to learn his race, buy some hens and go into the fancy chicken breeding business.
True love.....
