Its just the flu, bro.
Lefties have a whole slew of nonsense rebuttals when Flubros and Flubras mention increased rates of suicide and overdoses due to the lockdowns. See below where they claim it is Covid-induced psychosis causing this:
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/rare-covid-19-complication-sees-22780402
So it is actually Covid that causes the suicides according to the left. The other rebuttal is that suicide rates are up due to so many people losing their loved ones due to Coronavirus. Not many 19 year olds I know would kill themselves because their 92 year old great grandmother died of Coronavirus. I think the lockdown is clearly the more likely cause of these mental health deaths.

Many right leaning people, especially doctors commenting on the Coronavirus, are getting blocked by Twitter. If Twitter has the power to block for non-sense reasons then they are an editor and should be able to get sued for defamation, libel, etc based on the content they host. Many of their legal privileges are based on a sense that they are an impartial platform.
ROFL MAO Cletus.
mewzilla had a great experience, also.
My wife and I had one on vacay in CA this summer, but I don’t think as good as y’all. I default to flight or flight depending on the rapid assessment of the situation. We both got our 2 cents worth in after “WHERE ARE YOUR MASKS!” (while going for a nice walk to the pier in Oceanside CA. Thousand of people on packed beaches...no masks...no socialist distancing...DESPITE BIG ELECTRONIC demands boards SREAMING at you near the pier.
Thanks, Yokel. Life is fun in/on a Free Republic.
Thanks JimRob
Um ... let me think about that for a second.
Yes!
Let’s make damn sure that FR has enough liquidity for the incoming attack of November 3.
Let’s give Jim and John some breathing room with an influx this month.
Pump the donations for October.
Dang.

Absolutely true. It’s extremely rare. In fact, this is likely the first time a coronavirus has killed this many people before. Of the 7 coronaviruses known to infect humans, 4 cause mild to moderate respiratory symptoms and are part of the over 200 viruses known to cause what we called the “common cold”.
SARS-CoV-1 (SARS2003) is another coronavirus known to infect humans. However, it didn’t spread particularly well and if quickly made people very sick, so they generally stayed away from other people and went for medical treatment.
MERS-CoV (MERS2012) is another coronavirus that infects humans, but it was even worse at spreading than SARS 2003 and it killed people very quickly.
So yes, all evidence points to this being the first time a virus in the coronavirus family has emerged that’s been able to spread effectively enough to infect a lot of people, but still deadly enough to kill a lot of people.
ABSOLUTELY! I sent my $100 postal money order after the goal was already met this Q. I don’t do it every Q but usually 3 out of 4. Just sayin’
Without FR...oh my!

A lot (many, many, many) of my posts were gleaned from other thinkers on FR.
Thanks to every poster.
This has been explained before - I frequently mess up my days but then I attempt to true things up and it causes time warps.
Kozak is a well know Karen here on FR.

How convenient.
That one killed AT LEAST 17 million people world-wide. MILLION. 28% US pop infected, and still at least 500k died.
Not a good one to point out. But then, that’s why the stats were ignored here.
