Dr. Redfield has already threatened to resign his position should he be put in a position where he feels human lives are put in danger. Hallelujah!

Please resign like yesterday.

If you read their press release below they continue to take shots a the Cruise lines. -Tom

It is called Sturmabteilung. What ever happened to people making their own decisions? What ever happened to personal responsibility? What ever happened to the Bill of Rights? Kristallnacht is coming to a city near you soon!

Make an excuse, make a plan, carry it out to see if the sheep will follow. If they do you can cast them aside when their usefulness is exhausted.

““Petri dishes.”
The analogy is ignorant and getting tiresome.”

Yes. How about:

Schools, movie theaters, big city sidewalks, concerts, county fairs...

Thank you for referencing that article Capt. Tom. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

"The cruise industry in the United States remains under a No Sail Order through October 31, the CDC [??? emphasis added] said in a somewhat controversial statement."

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Patriots are reminded that the Founding States made the first numbered clauses in the Constitution, Sections 1-3 of Article I, evidently a good place to hide these clauses from Congress (sarc), to clarify that all federal legislative powers are vested in the elected members of Congress, not in the executive or legislative branches, or in so-called “federal regulatory agencies” like the EPA, IRS, or CDC in this example, constitutionally undefined federal agencies run by non-elected bureaucrats.

In fact, the Founding States had expressly constitutionally limited the terms of House members to two years partly to give legal citizen voters the effective power to “impeach and remove” representatives who like to raise taxes (1.7.1) from power in the next, “right around the corner" election.

H O W E V E R…

Patriots are now being oppressed under the boots of post-17th Amendment ratification career lawmakers who have scandalously unconstitutionally weakened effective voter power to “impeach and remove” corrupt House members by unconstitutionally front-ending federal legislative powers with non-elected bureaucrats, much of those so-called federal legislative powers actually stolen state powers.

After all, its questionable if Congress and POTUS would have extended a no sail order this close to election day imo. (Two-term career representatives would probably want to avoid taking responsibility.)

The remedy for unconstitutionally big federal government…

Send "Orange Man Bad" federal and state government desperate Democrats home in November!

Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a "third term" in office imo.

I don’t see any problem with voting Republican ticket for 2020 elections.

Insights welcome.

I’ve been savagely attacked for expressing scepticism over the CV rules. Personally, I believe some what the assurance that they’re doing something, anything, that gives them a feeling of control over the CV. Others, mostly politicians similarly want to be seen as “Doing Something” even if it isn’t really effective.

There is so much conflicting information about this virus from the CDC and TV experts and computer authorities , the virus is being treated as a fatal ebola type threat with the added feature of an easily spreading disease like measles. Covid-19 is neither.

Because of the medical profession's confusion people will break into several camps on covid-19 like it is not that much of a threat, to it is worse than the 1918 flu, to I don't know what to make of this ,except I know of no one who has gotten it.

IMHO our CDC and the U.N. WHO should be abolished and a competent disease control agency should replace them.
All of the confusion about Covid -19 is mostly caused by their incompetence. -Tom

Well, I've treated 150 patients with it, so I guess you could say I do know someone who has gotten it.

Thanks, I’m a cruise ace, one on RC, four on the party booats, and the latter really do let you have as much fun as you want.

My fun hasn’t included drunkenly harassing crew, which I think is responsible for at least some of the overboards, but I do live it up.

IIRC, my couple beers a day on our last five-day cruise cost something like $75.

Capt. - thank you so much for all the updates.

Today was the day we were supposed to be heading out to take the RC Grandeur up the coast to Nova Scotia. My siblings and mom. She’s 86 and just wanted to do a cruise with her kids. We were going to surprise her with the upgraded suite with the piano. Had dreams of having our Happy Hour with our brother’s beautiful piano playing. C’est la vie. :)

So many people enjoy their cruises. I loved cruising with my Mom. She still snorkeled for hours in Roatan. She was turning 90 then. It is a great memory.

How old is he? How long has he been running the CDC? He doesn’t impress me at all.

You can tell from the article the CDC sill wants to cripple the Cruise industry, but has ben frustrated by the White House.

The CDC is not going to give up easily. -Tom

The Meeting of the CDC and Pres. Trump is today-Friday.

Pres. Trump has just come down with Covid-19 and it certainly will complicate the Cruise line shutdown talks.

As I say in my tagline: "It's COVID 2020 - The Events, not us, are in charge now."

We will have to see how this plays out now. -Tom
