The only good reasons I can think of this being true is, he’s gotten more to investigate and is not done, or the report is so devastating for the bad guys it could cause even more security problems in order to steal the election by Democratics, or so benign it would cause some Republicans to give up and stay home.

Yes, all good points & I think you are correct.
What chaps me is 1) If Trump loses (I don’t think he will) this will all go away & nothing will happen 2) the Dims/Deep State will now be meddling in 3 elections with a pile of steaming BS. No matter if everybody is locked up, screwing up 3 elections will be success (for them) beyond their wildest fantasy 3) After the election, nobody will care. It is 100 miles in the rear-view mirror as it is now.

Good options. And the other side is that the people involved are crooked as well, so they’re not letting it out hoping that Biden wins and it all gets squashed.
