Sounds like today was the day for a first cataract surgery. I feel strange even saying I had surgery, no pain, no blood, and very good side effects!
What are you having done, dentures? Implants? I’ve had the latter. I could buy a very nice car for how much I paid for them.

I’m pretty sure it did. I only need a little bit of Advil on the way home. My far Vision now on the operated eye is better than the unoperated eye with glasses. I don’t mind if I need glasses after, I’ve gotten kind of spoiled with Transitions and progressives. So I’ll probably still wear them after.

I think you are very right. There’s also another couple interesting things that I’ve noticed while talking to people in those socialist systems on various medical groups. First, they don’t like to spend one penny out of pocket. They like things to be covered completely and if they are not then they do without. Or complain excessively. Second they seem so grateful when they actually get Healthcare.
I think it’s good for people to have some skin in the game, have to pay a little bit at least.

I’m sorry, I haven’t really looked at the details. What i note is most deaths in this country are elderly, and those are mostly from States that forced infected patients in to nursing homes, and those with pre-existing conditions.
A major thing that makes analysis difficult is, since we are a republic, different states have had different rules with different outcomes. Doesnt make sense to lump it all to the country as a whole.
