The reason the Left keeps moving leftward is because that is the Left’s knee jerk response to every failed program it introduces. When their current program is failing their response (only suggested solution) is to throw good money after bad. So, when the current leftward movement did not work move even farther to the left and maybe that will work.

Sadly, I can smell war from here but I can't tell how far off it is, but it could be here by fall or winter. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see how to reconcile with the people on the left.

Liberalism is a religion. Christians have Christ as the central tenant of their beliefs for the forgiveness of sins. Liberals have the sacrifice of fetuses as the central tenant of their beliefs which is why they go ballistic on Christians for being pro-life. Being pro-life attacks the foundation of their religion. Sinning to Liberals is NOT accepting their religion as fact.

If you personally divorce from the cloud, all that happens is you get "left behind". This same problem exists at the national scale as the individual. If a whole country shuts off the cloud, other countries just eat its lunch. You can't afford to do that because information (even a glut of information) has value, and separating the wheat from the tares is a mathematically intractable problem. Whoever curates your information feeds owns your soul.
