And the question PRESUMES that racist white militias are the problem, and that Trump is a racist who supports the KKK.
He had zero duty to dignify the question or assent that the premise is correct.
It would be no different had Wallace asked him to promise that he would not try to seduce his daughter Ivanka. You do not merely answer the outrage like some schoolboy who must answer any and everything cast at him.
This question should have lead Trump to challenge him to a duel at dawn with pistols unless he retracts the accusation.

Who are what is a white supremacist? Are they a powerful force in the US? Why should Trump kowtow to the left? What is the left’s position, attitude and polices about race?
So typical the race card. I was talking to a very nice woman and we got along and unfortunately politics got involved and her main thing was “but Trump is racist”. Inside I said GFYS and I don’t talk to her now.
