In 2016, Dickerson and his ilk on all the networks didn’t slam Clinton until it was clear she was about to lose. (With the outstanding exception of doddering Tom Brokaw who early on said to Carville, “they don’t like her very much.”)
This year, they can’t wait. Biden is THAT bad. We all detest Clinton but she could put a sentence together, and show up to deliver it, far better than Biden 2020. Enthusiasm for Clinton was enough to wiggle the needle. Not so with Biden. They seem baffled as to how he got where he is, and nervous as to what he’ll say or do next. They’re playing along, but it’s a tough sell.
As for Kamala Harris, I’m convinced she’s under the influence 24/7. She talks like she’s staggering through a fun house at Coney Island.
My mother says Harris looks like she is a “party girl.”

I’ve noticed that and I’ve noticed that it’s nervous or contrived/forced laughter. In my humble experience when I’ve seen people engage in this behavior they’re either being deceptive or they’re being evasive.
