Waiting to hear the weather forecast, just heard the local "news" station say Trump "refuses to condemn white supremacy..."
One of the few times Wallace shut up. And I liked Katie Pavlich's admonition of Wallace for misrepresenting the Trump comments regarding the good people on both sides comment Wallace and the media take out of context.
At this point, what Wallace did was basically slander. It's old news. It really has been debunked. What President Trump actually said at the time was perfectly fine, but the media chose to misrepresent it. And this has been explained to the media over and over and over. For the media, in this election campaign, to still be misrepresenting the President's remarks is just criminal.
Just such a major error on President’s part with his stand down stand by. As soon as he said it I knew this would be another “non stop replay for days, months, years”.
People are not mentioning President first said “Sure” when asked will you condemn white supremacy and KKK groups. But then President wanted to know what groups and that is when Wallace said like Proud Boys.
Yep, and Katie basically said the same when talking about Wallace. I think she was the only FOX contributor who was honest about Wallace.
Trump is ON RECORD condemning these groups. The fact the Wallace would bring it up, as well as the "fine people" hoax, shows that the MSM can't get rid of the "Trump is a racist" canard.
Chris who specifically he wanted him to condemn, and Chris suggested proud boys.
If I recall, this was related to the back and firth at the end, where Wall-ace asked Trump if he would ask the right wing groups not to use violence. It was an open-ended asinine question. Trump asked "which groups." and there was talk over, but Trump said "Sure." The MSM is saying Trump told them to "Stand down - for now."
Another lie we'll hear over and over again.
NO you’re not. That Wallace tried to tie the Proud Boys to something that should, automatically, be denounced was pathetic and biased.
So proud that the POTUS responded with a positive and then went on the offense, it totally sidelined that narrative.
I liked the “stand by” comment. I also took note that Wallace used the term “militia” along with “white supremacy”. How dare he...there’s nothing inherently wrong with militia, they’re even referenced in the 2A.
His questioning language really said an awful lot about him. It was terrible. He would interrupt if he wasn’t hearing the type of answer he was expecting, that’s not his job. Ask the question and shut up, it’s up to the audience if we feel the answer was relevant and answered the question.
I thought it was quite disgraceful.
And changing their name to something that doesn’t sound like an SA detachment from Munich in 1930 wouldn’t hurt, either. They have messaging problems, and are too easy to caricature.
Yeah I know what you mean...sounds too much like the “Boys from Brazil” which explored the possibility that Mengele made it to SA after the war and was trying to clone Hitler and start a new reich.
I like this old chestnut...The minutemen. Has a very patriotic and authentic ring to it....don’t ya think? So 1776, so authentically and historically American!!
