Wallace seemingly hurried to introduce the next question every time Biden insulted Trump imo. So Wallace was arguably driving Biden’s getaway car imo.

As a debate moderator, Wallace's big problem is that he treats it like a Sunday show interview.
Wallace winds up a big question with a preamble using prior quotes and recent event references, and then tries to string all of that into a "gotcha" question.
The problem is that in a debate, that takes up too much time and the debaters are anxious to get going. As soon as Wallace says something incomplete or out of context, President Trump jumped in to dispute the question.
It's Wallace's own fault for not setting up a simple question and letting the candidates take turns answering. When Wallace asks Trump about "$750 per year income tax," how can Biden fairly answer that question other than to use it to attack Trump?
If Wallace asked "What is your opinion on releasing personal information like tax returns and medical records?" to each of them, that would be a simple and fair question. But he doesn't do that.

Yup. This will be the first time in my lifetime that I vote straight ticket for a party. I usually put a lot of thought into each candidate and so while it is mostly GOP, not entirely. This year, with the opposing party basically supporting Antifa terrorists in favor of burning it all down to create some socialist utopia, doesn’t seem like any other sensible option than straight ticket.
Exactly. Trump set the tone immediately with Wallace. Biden wasn’t even on the stage. I am convinced that Trump baited Wallace throughout the debate and got him to confirm his entire theme of FAKE NEWS.. He forced him to take Biden’s side which immediately neutralized Biden and made anything Biden said irrelevant. Trump set up his own gang bang.
How are you invisible when you are debating and interrupting the entire night. He was the biggest loser.

And then every other answer Trump began was interrupted with Wallace saying his answer was touching on something he intended to ask about later.
It was literally the worst debate ever, and it was because Wallace was a player, not a disinterested questioner.
It resembled “Question Time” in the British Parliament.
