Oh, she had a beautiful voice, and my mom and I used to love “You and Me Against the World.” I still cry when I hear it.

I remember her winning a Grammy Award and upon receiving it, said: “I want to thank God because SHE makes everything possible”

We had an album of hers — back when “record jackets” were popular. It was like a mini-photo album of her family. And I remember “Delta Dawn” on the AM radio station when I was getting up for school.
RIP, Helen Reddy. I doubt we’d see eye-to-eye on much these days, but thanks for being a good memory of my childhood.

So, she believed there are two genders?
I liked her voice. May she RIP. She and RBG are probably having coffee in the Afterlife Cafeteria right now. I’d love to be a fly on the wall. But then, there are no flies there.

Yes, remember that and her appearing without a bra with nothing to show for it. Not a fan, but RIP.

“...and my mom and I used to love ‘You and Me Against the World.’ I still cry when I hear it.”
Us, too!
And when one of us is gone,
And one of us is left to carry on,
Then remembering will have to do,
Our memories alone will get us through
Think about the days of me and you,
Of you and me against the world.
