Based on yesterday’s thread and what one would expect, we are seeing that some businesses are being slow to follow Desantis’ lead in Florida. They are keeping the old rules. Someone correct me if I am wrong...I assume that businesses that are slow to open up are small businesses owned by libs or big businesses with nation-wide rules and they are just waiting for direction from the head office. The government and its laws affect people’s behavior and attitudes, but it is often a lagged affect as it takes time for people to change their attitudes. Any word from our Florida Freepers about what is happening at public schools and state universities?

I drove from Kentucky to Seattle last week and am just headed back into Kentucky. I saw tons of “masks required” signs in businesses - especially national chains. I never wore a mask the entire trip, and nobody ever said anything, and I never even got any dirty looks. But there were a lot of people in masks. However, it turns out that for a lot of them it is because they were just complying with a sign, not because they thought it was actually necessary.
