Not in my opinion but YMMV.
I don't even use pumpkin spice in pumpkin pie.
I do like pumpkin (not pumpkin spice!) pasta. Roasted pumpkin, brown butter and sage with a squeeze of lemon.

For those that like mushrooms, mac and cheese with mushrooms and diced stewed tomato mixed in is excellent. Sometimes adding ground beef as well.

I’m not sure what their definition of pumpkin spice is.

And peanut butter mac & cheese and kimchi mac & cheese and sardine mac & cheese...no.
Chili-mac, all they way!

Nope...NOT from the Bee.
However, it WAS on a new page from the Bee that is weird, absurd, and TRUE stuff in the news. And yes, sadly, this is for real.
If 2020 needed a food, I think we found it.

No, pumpkin does not go ‘pretty well in a pie’.

Actually, the only thing a pumpkin is good for is “Pumpkin Chunking”, seeing how far you can throw one from a catapult.

Traditionally it was cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves.
Because spices were expensive they used to sell blends like kitchen pepper, poultry seasoning, pumpkin pie or apple pie spice and of course curry powder, to make for easier buying and transportation.
