[snip] HH: But Brian, that kind of asks, that begs the question. Your criticism in Hoax, a lot of is based in the coverage of the Mueller investigation and how they downplayed it and called it a Hoax. It turns out there was no collusion, and it turns out we know this week, you couldnt have known it during writing of Hoax
BS: Yeah.
HH: that the primary sub-source of the Steele dossier is probably a Russian agent, correct?
BS: I think theres a fantasyland that Fox promotes about what youre describing, about the Steele dossier and all of that that distracts from the key questions about Trumps ties with Russia. We now know from the New York Times hundreds of millions of dollars of loans. Who does the President owe money to? We need to know. We deserve to know that, Hugh.
HH: Brian, thats a deflection. The primary sub-source of the dossier was revealed last week to be a Russian agent investigated by the Obama Department of Justice in 2009 and 10. The dossier is discredited. There was no collusion. These are factual matters. Thats my problem with Hoax.
BS: Im reflecting, Im a media reporter, and Im not a Steele dossier reporter. What I know is that when you use the word hoax over and over again the way the President has, its dangerous and poisonous, because it makes people think theres nothing real and nothing true anymore. And thats what I think the problem is.
HH: Will you at least agree with me that the primary sub-source of the dossier has been revealed to be a Russian agent?
BS: I literally do not know, because Im a media reporter.
HH: Okay.
BS: I hate to disappoint you. I just, I dont cover the dossier over the air
[snip]
HH: So you should know that the primary sub-source of the dossier is a Russian agent. And the fact that you dont is why people dont trust CNN, because they dont know that you guys ever look on the other side of a story.
BS: I read as much as I can, but there are much bigger priorities in this country right now, frankly, than a four year old dossier.
HH: Oh, Brian.
BS: I understand that its part of the right-wing fantasyland, but its not the biggest story in the world. [snip]
The Russia hoax was the lead story at CNN for years. One of the biggest bombshells in Russia hoax is the recent revelation that a Russian agent was the base source for the dossier. Brian Stelter states in this interview that he has no knowledge of this bombshell and he has no interest in it.
Audio at 13:24 and 22:50 in the audio clip.
BS: I literally do not know, because Im a media reporter.
Wow - an admittedly, willfully uninformed "reporter" who hosts a show named "Reliable Sources."
You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried.
Makes sense that his initials are BS.
HH is a never Trumper jerk
Translation: At CNN it was never part of our job to question the Steele Dossier. It was not part of our narrative. Trump is bad was our only narrative so the veracity of the Steele Dossier was never important, to us. And even now that the Russian collusion story has been proved wrong, getting Trump anyway we can is still our prime narrative, discredited Russian collusion story or not.
And CNN PRETENDS they don’t understand why they are not trusted.
Im a media reporter,

No, you’re a propagandist.
Hewitt is a Bush League Republican cheerleader.
He and Medved have spent years trying to convince us that we had to abandon the rule of law and surrender the country to illegal aliens with amnesty.
So you write a book complaining about the President portraying fake scandals as a hoax and in the interview about the book, you claim what he was calling a hoax is irrelevant, and old news? Nutty stuff.
Makes sense that his initials are BS.
Even though he’s really George Costanza
BS is a VSS.
Brian Stelter = pseudo-intellectual.
ping
I’m not sure that that is an accurate characterization of Hewitt. He was skeptical of Trump when Candidate Trump revealed in an interview that he did not know what the Nuclear Triad was, and, let’s be reasonable, I expect a candidate for the Presidency to know such concepts.
While I find him to be a bit too friendly with the likes of Chuck Todd, he is firmly in the Trump camp these days.
HH swings both ways politically.
An autobiography?
If this is a true record of the interview then Stelter is revealed as an ignorant moron. I hope Tucker Carlson sees this and comments. The level of ignorance and hypocrisy is stunning.
Theres people on twitter who think he looks like a potato Im starting to see
It
How does someone as stupid as Stelter get a job even sweeping the floor. He must has slept his way to the top.
