Carter and Keri speak with controversial figure Dr. Charles Murray.
Dr. Murray holds the F. A. Hayek Emeritus Chair in Cultural Studies at the American Enterprise Institute. He first came to national attention with the publication of his book _Losing Ground_, which has been credited as the intellectual foundation for the Welfare Reform Act of 1996. In 1994, _The Bell Curve_, a New York Times bestseller he coauthored with the late Richard Herrnstein, sparked heated controversy for its analysis of the role of IQ in shaping Americas class structure.
In 2012, in another New York Times bestseller, _Coming Apart_, Dr. Murray described the nature and causes of the cultural polarization that, by 2016, would shape national politics. In his latest book, _Human Diversity_, he describes recent developments in genetics and neuroscience that are transforming the social sciences. Dr. Murray has a PhD in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in history from Harvard University.

Thanks. I’ll definitely be watching.
His “Bell Curve” explains everything we see about race today.
Poor guy has been so maligned
He and Rushton
Ping
I bought his book because of the Unsafe Space video.
We need to be careful with blaming race/genetics. Poverty and correlating factors like malnutrition, repeat bouts with severe illness (malaria) and parasitic infection all contribute to lower intelligence.
How a Worm Gave the South a Bad Name
Hookworms once sapped the American South of its health, yet few realize that they continue to afflict millions.

A 1926 study of Alabama school children found that the greater the number of worms that students harbored, the lower their IQ.
Is there a study that is more recent than 100 years ago?? Seriously......
Correlation may not be causation in the hook worm example. It could be higher IQ individuals knew or listened to how one prevents hook worm infestations.
Another confusion of causality with correlation?
Fascinating and erudite.
