In one sense they do and did. Baby Boomers are going to vote themselves social benefits until there is nothing left to spend. Then, they will exit the world and leave the next generations the bills.

Millenials are an ungrateful lot.
I have paid into social security for 40 years and am still paying. When I go get my benefits I will pay confiscatory tax rates on them. If I live to be 120 I would not get out the $ I would have had if I had invested that money privately like the rest of my retirement savings. Please tell me how Omam stealing from anyone?

Millennials have been spoiled by the wealth of Boomers.
And themselves haven’t generally created or earned enough wealth for the Boomers to steal from them.

It was the "Greatest Generation" and their parents who did all that.
The first Baby Boomer did not get to vote until 1966. The first presidential elections they voted in Richard Nixon.
All the big social benifits were voted in by that time.
The Boomers paid for it and paid for it and now are being told that as the last ones are coming up on retirement that the money is all gone.

I, on oldest boomer, was too young to vote when medicare was started.
I would have done better had my SS security donations been put into a checking account.
These Boomers have paid 15% of their income for 45+ years. They will only get a fraction of what they've been forced to "invest".

Too funny - us Boomers worked since we were teens and watched as more and more Millennials were awarded “benefits” from our labors.
Without us and our work ethic, many Millennials would be eating out of dumpsters.
