Yeah, they’re kind of like Aspen trees, that are all part of one underground system, and ‘trees’ pop up all over the place.
This year was lousy for Morel hunting, but we almost always have a bounty of Golden Oyster mushrooms. I love anything mushroom-related. :)
The local oysters...white...are my favorite to eat raw. Chanterelles are probably the fave for cooking.
