Try finding a Glock right now. You have to order from a dealer and put up with at least a 5-6 week wait. Or buy used from GunBroker.

My gun store here in E. Washington state has been very good about keeping Glocks in stock, they buy a huge amount of them, and of course they're a popular handgun platform.

The big problem like all across the country is keeping 9mm and .223 in stock.

I've had to buy online 9mm FMJ @ 0.60/rd and .223 range ammo is going for about the same depending on the manufacture.

Ruger Security-9 has a nice dual pull trigger. I actually fire better using a dual pull trigger and literally hit what I’m trying to aim. I gave 3x Security-9 W/18 MAGS, PT-111, .38 SPEC, etc.

Ruger Security-9mm in 4” and 3.41” are the real deal. 10mm and .45ACP will stop a drugged up zombie over 9mm any day.

I just sold off my 29 yr collection of the finest firearms, but with medical problems, I just couldn’t shoot them anymore. I have the 2 Class III AR15s and suppressors left, plus the daily Kimber, but everything else is gone. Still bummed-out from having to do it.

I hope you can profit by their sale, and get them in appreciative hands as well. I am truly sorry for your creeping diability. May it take a halt and nt proceed. I thank God that I am pstill physically able at 83 to get up and werk safely on a 24 ft ladder; to haul it arounf and set it up without help. Of course I cannot run a hundred-yard dash, but I can shoot pretty well with accuracy. My glasses mave so little corrective benefit that I can see the front sight and targets well enough without them to get good scores.

May you have some pleasant days thumbing through your old American Rifleman magazines. Only once have I ever had to sell firearms to get some cash. That was in the early 1970s when I had to sell my Spingfield 1903A3 rifle and a Crosman .22 CO2 and its holster to get some money for food and a lantern to take my boys out to camp and fish. I eas only able to get $25 for the guns and holster. But we had enough then to camp for a week -- a great time with then that I will never forget. But I still have a hard time forgiving the stinginess of the sports shop owner. And that was 50 years ago.

Vaya con dios, amigo!

I sold them to family and friends, and got good money for them, but most important, into appreciative hands. I kept the 2 (one SBR) Class III AR-15s, suppressors, and daily-carry Kimber 1911 ‘Target Eclipse II’ .45cal ACP.

2008 Barrett M82A1 .50cal w/ NightForce Scope.
2009 Beowulf AR-50 (Alexander Arms) .50cal w/ RGR C1P1 Scope.
2003 Bushmaster AR-10 .308cal w/ Trijicon ACOG 4x32 Scope.
Remy 1184 12ga Police Tactical Semi-Auto w/ EoTech Red Dot.
Remy 870 Pump w/ EoTech Red Dot.
2009 Henry ‘Big Boy’ Lever Action .357mag, w/ RGR Scope
1975 Colt Trooper MKIII Revolver 6” .357mag.
2012 Kimber ‘TLE II SWAT Model’ 1911 .45cal ACP, w/ CT Laser Grips.
1959 Winchester Lever Action .32cal Special, Iron Sights.

Good deer gun, that Winchester .32, better than my .30-30 Left it with my son for family protection, abou7 30 years ago. Both easy to load for.

But that Trooper sounds like a real nice gun. I watched this video through:

Impressive.

I miss the Trooper MKIII already, and along with the scoped Henry ‘Big Boy’ in .357mag, they were a nice pair to take into the woods, and would drop anything living in there.

I hope the USMC will find the Sig Sauer useful to their needs. It is a good gun for close combat. That is, if the adversary has no flak vests.
