This. I am a complete believer in expectations delivers achievement, or any behavior for that matter. It's a crux of the problem with quotas and affirmative action. Being female or of a particular color is no qualification - and they know it. That ghetto kid being told that he can't learn and having peers frown upon learning leads to illiteracy and ignorance. Seeing rioting, looting and arson for well over a hundred days sets the expectation for future acts of the same; especially when people in the Harris-Biden campaign will bail them out of jail, or a George Soros funded DA will not charge them for obvious crimes.
