I disagree; congressvermin corruption is illegal, very little is even tacitly legal. Make them follow existing laws will clean out many via arrests and corrupt pos will not want to run for office if they can’t get illegally rich doing so.

They skirt legality, obviously. My point was that the only way to get them reigned in , to get them to follow the law the rest of us have to live under, is to enact an amendment that makes them subject to the laws. I don’t see that ever happening via the normal congressional process, and a convention of states is the only other method I can think of.
