I have family members and relatives that don’t like Trump. But I would never let that get between me and them.
Only the otherside uses this kind of derangement.
I guess you didn’t read the article. The “child” gave the parent no choice. If you support Trump we will never visit you or allow you to see your grandchildren. Make your choice.
So, if you have such a “child” what would you do? Abandon your principles to appease the “child”? If the answer is yes then, we know why you have such a “child”.
I have one. Our eldest daughter. The rest are staunch patriots. We told her it looks like you’ve made the choice for us. Too bad for you and your children.
My wife has an uncle who has basically disowned, cut off communication with, most of his family, including my MIL and FIL, us, my SIL, etc., over Trump. And this is a guy who could use some family support. Complete #TDS issue.
My dad and oldest brother got into over Carter vs. Ford. My brother tried to convince dad that Carter was the man.
Dad would have none of that and the fight was on.
My dad’s is gone now and ny brother is 75 and regrets that vote every day now. But the jerk never apologized to my dad.

I got a big family of blood relatives. A bigger family by choice.
Half of my blood relations I don’t talk to anymore because they are areseholes. Been that way for many years.
Life is short. Dump the baggage. Big world out there. Lots of folks to make lifelong friends.

Dad should ask him who is doing all the burning and looting and rioting. The hate is coming from the left. I don’t see Trump supporters doing anything hateful.
