My dad and oldest brother got into over Carter vs. Ford. My brother tried to convince dad that Carter was the man.
Dad would have none of that and the fight was on.
My dad’s is gone now and ny brother is 75 and regrets that vote every day now. But the jerk never apologized to my dad.
So my grandfather was a strong old line democrat. I was a young whippersnapper who voted for Reagan.
We had some great arguments.
