I couldn’t bear to live in a place where I didn’t have a driveway, water on demand, and my own garage. Middle class neighborhood fine.

At first, I thought the photo showed the car on the roof of the building with no side railing. My fear of heights playing tricks on me.

It’s Singapore, BTW. Ang Mo Kio is an MRT subway stop.

Sigh, Karen’s the world over.

What the world needs is barbarian hordes: white, Christian, freedom-loving, barbarian hordes.

It would have plenty of pressure on the bottom end.

This is not necessarily a terrible idea. Modern expandable garden hoses are very lightweight, some under 5 lbs. for a 100 foot hose, and the 100 foot drop would help with water pressure. Not much water would be wasted when draining the nose, perhaps less than used in an average bath or two, depending on the hose diameter. There may be some slight danger from a falling hose, but connected hoses don't usually disconnect themselves. If there is little foot traffic in the area...

I'm not saying this is a good idea, just not an obviously terrible idea.

You remember that woman washing the car in Cool Hand Luke?

Oh yeah.

I told my wife I wanted to see her like that this past weekend.

I got all excited and walked outside.

She was wearing mirror sunglasses and carrying a rifle.

Wasn’t what I had in mind.

Fastest I ever washed the car, though.

That’s one way to increase the water pressure.

100 feet of head = 43 psi

Mae West asks “Is that a very long hose or is Long Slong Silver in town visiting friends”?

I see the hose in the “close up” shot, but I cannot see it at all in the “birds eye view”.
