QAnon conspiracies? Check out these gems from liberal establishment
Washington Times ^ | Sep 21 | By Rowan Scarborough

ANALYSIS

President Trump has been confronted with a series of false and unfounded conspiracy stories from the same liberal establishment that condemns the wild QAnon phenomenon, according to an analysis of the president’s nearly four years in office.

The press has lambasted the right-wing mystery persona of QAnon and its Internet-driven conspiracy theory that a cabal of Hollywood big-shots, Democrats and federal officials is involved in a pedophile ring determined to bring down the president.

But at the same time, anti-QAnon liberals have embraced and promoted scores of Trump-deriding false stories and conspiracies. Some are bizarre, such as an international White House-based assassination scheme and a desire to exterminate Hispanics. Some are personal, such as “mini-strokes” and mental illness.

The Washington Times analyzed the left’s conspiracy culture and compiled a 35-item list (not all inclusive) dating back to Mr. Trump’s first day in office. Such stories fomented thousands of social media blogs and cable news.

The Times sources for this report: press stories; transcripts; social media posts.

Washington times website is un-readable and a total waste of time. The ads pop up so fast, I never actually get to read the article

Never again.

Good article. I pay no attention to Q-Anon and the so-called conspiracy theories that it allegedly promotes. I suspect that some of those conspiracy theories might have an element of truth to them, and others might be total BS. I mainly hear about its supposedly massive influence through hysterical reports in the MSM.

This article points out how widespread anti-Trump conspiracy theories are in the MSM, and these get far wider circulation than anything coming out of Q-Anon.

One theory that the article omitted is that Trump will refuse to leave office if he loses the election. Another one was that he would round up homosexuals and put them in concentration caps. Another was that he wants to restore racial segregation and Jim Crow laws.

Classic projection. It's the left who wrote the book on conspiracy nuttiness. Contrary to popular belief the moon landing hoax conspiracy started yrs before Alex Jones was even thought of. In 1970 CPUSA head Gus Hall, who fmr CIA dir John Brennan bragged about voting for pres said he had proof NASA paid off then MBA Commissioner Bowie Kuhn $5 million to rig the 1969 baseball season so the hapless hopeless last place Mets would rally just as Appolo 11 was set to take off, then go on to win the World Series so as to distract the public's attention from the hoax NASA was perpetrating.
But the best one yet, the one that should be the gold standard by which all other conspiracy cookery be judged was in 1981. Gus Hall had posters put up all over YC claiming John Lennon was murdered by the CIA. He had proof the CIA kidnapped Mark Chapman, implanted a chip on his butt then programmed him to carry out the deed. Trump/Russia collusion was so lameass by comparison.

QAnon is a Nazi Cult, Rebranded
https://www.justsecurity.org/72339/qanon-is-a-nazi-cult-rebranded/

QAnon purveys the fantasy that a secret Satan-worshiping cabal is taking over the world. Its members kidnap white children, keep them in secret prisons run by pedophiles, slaughter, and eat them to gain power from the essence in their blood. The cabal held the American Presidency under the Clintons and Obama, nearly took power again in 2016, and lurks in a “Deep State” financed by Jews, including George Soros, and in Jews who control the media. They want to disarm citizens and defund the police. They promote abortion, transgender rights, and homosexuality. They want open borders so brown illegal aliens can invade America and mongrelize the white race.
