This CDC is supposed to be a DISEASE CONTROL Federal Govt. agency, but wants to get the public involved in suggestion how a business should operate.
Battling covid-19 is what the CDC should be doing and not meddling in the operations of a business, that is up to the cruise lines to figure out how to satisfy the CDC and the cruise ship passengers.
I will put in a link below to the foolish questions the CDC is asking the public to opine on- probably so he CDC can further frustrate the Cruise Industry from sailing to and from our country. -Tom
I couldn’t care less. I’ve never been on one and I have zero interest on ever going on one. I’ve crossed the Atlantic twice on an ocean liner and I’ve been to about 45 countries, so I’ve had my fill of travel. Being cooped up in a giant petri dish with 5000 other people holds no appeal for me.
absolutely they should be “allowed” to operate. And the public has the right to CHOOSE not to get on those death ships!
And anyone who does, takes their lives in their own hands!
It’s NONE of the governments business!
“Ive had my fill of travel. Being cooped up in a giant petri dish with 5000 other people holds no appeal for me.”
Except they aren’t.
Regardless of your opinion on cruising everyone should get involved before your sacred cow gets it next.
OK Karen
F’ Disney. The rest can start up.
Here we go with the “I ain’t riding on no petri dish” comments from those who can’t afford a luxury cruise and resent those who can.
Every one has an opinion. The CDC has collected 6,000 so far.
I am pointing out the CDC should be concentrating on diseases and not on questioning how to run a particular business.
What's next from the CDC? How to run a gambling casino or an airline?
There are other Govt. agencies to handle different businesses. -Tom
I support the Cruise industry’s “right to try”.
I also believe the industry is completely dead and cannot be resurrected.
Getting onto one of those ships is far, far easier than getting off of one.

NOW !!!
I don’t care, taking a “vacation” on one of those floating drunk-tanks interests me as much as Justin Bieber’s opinions on figure skating. If one of those ships ever get in trouble, you’re more than likely on your own and it’s amazing more people don’t die on those ships. The sea is a dangerous place. It’s not that I need total safety (which will never happen) but I need the odds tilted more in my favor.
I agree, sail away, have fun, and I’m not going!
Dont care. Start em up. Lets get back to normal.
I agree with them more than you. We may be just as wrong as the day is long but the “you’re just jealous” argument is completely bogus. I’ve spent plenty of time on ships and done plenty of shore visits off them. It just doesn’t appeal to me. I don’t like the climate or anything else about it. Really, you’re going to make this a class warfare thing? Anybody can take a cruise, there’s nothing hard about breaking out the credit card and paying for it in installments.
Think Farms In Berkeley? Stanford is still called The Farm. The idea was to take young minds far from cities. Take young minds away. Medical schools were all in cities because that’s where all the diseases are. So why do i bring this up?
Cruises are floating cities. For that reason i won’t go on the Trump Victory cruise. Their marketing is snake oil-like.
Cruises need to restart ASAP !!
