This CDC is supposed to be a DISEASE CONTROL Federal Govt. agency, but wants to get the public involved in suggestion how a business should operate.
Battling covid-19 is what the CDC should be doing and not meddling in the operations of a business, that is up to the cruise lines to figure out how to satisfy the CDC and the cruise ship passengers.
I will put in a link below to the foolish questions the CDC is asking the public to opine on- probably so he CDC can further frustrate the Cruise Industry from sailing to and from our country. -Tom
I couldn’t care less. I’ve never been on one and I have zero interest on ever going on one. I’ve crossed the Atlantic twice on an ocean liner and I’ve been to about 45 countries, so I’ve had my fill of travel. Being cooped up in a giant petri dish with 5000 other people holds no appeal for me.
absolutely they should be “allowed” to operate. And the public has the right to CHOOSE not to get on those death ships!
And anyone who does, takes their lives in their own hands!
It’s NONE of the governments business!
Regardless of your opinion on cruising everyone should get involved before your sacred cow gets it next.
F’ Disney. The rest can start up.

I support the Cruise industry’s “right to try”.
I also believe the industry is completely dead and cannot be resurrected.
Getting onto one of those ships is far, far easier than getting off of one.
NOW !!!
I don’t care, taking a “vacation” on one of those floating drunk-tanks interests me as much as Justin Bieber’s opinions on figure skating. If one of those ships ever get in trouble, you’re more than likely on your own and it’s amazing more people don’t die on those ships. The sea is a dangerous place. It’s not that I need total safety (which will never happen) but I need the odds tilted more in my favor.
Dont care. Start em up. Lets get back to normal.
Cruises need to restart ASAP !!
This will be the first year we haven’t taken the 14 day first-class cruise to Hawaii because of Rona. All the other years it’s been because we couldn’t afford it.
I went on a 4 year “pleasure” cruise on a FF while in the Navy. I’ve seen enough of the ocean.
yes open them up! We all need to get back to normal.
Coffin ships—they should be allowed to sail but then not be allowed to stop at any ports.
I am fine with cruise lines reopening their tour business.
As for me personally, based on past experience and the recent “virus crisis” I would not do a cruise unless I got a an outer cabin where you can get the air directly from the ocean. And I would choose the least favorite hours for the buffets, as well as entertainment that was only outside on the decks. Though yes I would visit the casino - last time I won back 100% plus of what my daily charges were.
