The NFL has decided to utilize its spectator sport to proselytize its paying customers to their employees' social opinion. Unfortunately, many customers disagree with being considered racists and the denigration of their country. The athletes of the NFL can generally run fast and lift heavy things, and play a game for pay, but they are clearly not marketing geniuses.
For my hometown team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, in their opening game, they decided to honor Antwon Rose as their hometown cause. For those unfamiliar with Mr. Rose, in the summer of 2018, he engaged in a drive-by shooting, fled from the shot up car as part of the police response to the shooting traffic stop within minutes of the shooting, and was shot as a fleeing felon by the police officer. The trial and jury deliberation were extremely short; the policeman was not guilty of criminal homicide.
The Steelers were not interested in the person whom Antwon Rose participated in trying to kill. The Steelers were not interested in the disruption caused by criminals conducting drive-by shootings in the community where Mr. Rose chose to practice his felony attempted murder. The Pittsburgh Steelers were interested in only the fact that the dead felon was black and the police officer was white.

What if these MFL “Ableist Oppressors” got to experience equality with veterans who lost legs to an IED explosion? Off with their legs and it will make it kneeling 24/7 as a benefit.
It was obvious several years ago that the NFL and other professional sports chose to side with criminal racists.
All doubt has been removed for even the slowest “to get it” in our country.
NO TV, no fans in the stadiums. The clowns running these shows will quickly get it.
Starbucks used to encourage their employees to have social justice discussions with their customers. The NFL took that concept to a whole new level.
The NFL: Every 60 seconds a prison yard riot breaks out on the field.
Life long sports fan here.
Played baseball and football in High School. Coached soccer in the local recreation league here for 7 years.
et woke, go to hell.
I have not nor will I watch any sport that disparages my country.
I will not watch anything that puts the name of a violent marxist terrorist organization in front of my eyes and tells me I’m racist for hating the violent marxist terrorist organization.
If even try to watch what I see makes me so angry I cant bear to watch. The distraction of orchestrated hatred against my country overwhelms any chance of enjoying the competition. I couldnt enjoy it if I tried. And supporting the boycott makes sense.
Ant Won. Stopped reading there.
I can’t even watch the Stanley Cup Finals, even though my former Dallas Stars are in it.
They should all volunteer for some basic police training and a few ride-along nights.
Why using Uhbama logo?
Lets be complete.
Villanueva apologized for going out to salute, claiming he didnt really know they were staying in, or simply apologizing for embarrassing his teammates.
Yes, he was a hero first, then he reneged.
I do give him credit for this helmet move, though. No reports on whether he knelt or not, yet. No one seems to mention those details.
My dream scenario: massive false positive China virus tests cause season to be ended.....testing discredited, blm and wokesters lose a platform, nfl loses millions...and nobody actually gets sick. Winning!
I am happy to report that I have not had cable tv since the end of HBO’s Game of thrones!
I am also happy to report that I have not been a spectator, televised or live, of professional football, since they those of us participating in the Vietnam War, via a strike, which then deprived us of ‘football film Sunday’ at the base USO, because the USO was restricted from showing the films while the strike went on.
So much for the love of the troops dying for their country!!
