Worldometer has deaths stagnating after drifting down for over a month and a half. I don’t see this being the start of a new wave - the drop off trend will continue. I still believe we will be under the death rate required for a national epidemic within three weeks.

The Dem governors, of course, prefer using this WHO standard. Many of the Northeast Dem states are well under this strict standard but still haven’t relaxed their lockdown because they hate to give up control.

I built a UVc light box for my home.

Took a plastic tub, lined it with metal foil tape. When the bulb is used you can smell the ozone being generated quite strongly in the box.
Keep it in my garage.

When I get home from work I toss my stethoscope , keys, shows , pen, googles into the box, strip and go right to the shower. So far so good.

I believe it originated in Wuhan lab and leaked. I don’t think it was intentional. Regardless, I don’t see any virus that originated in that lab as being any kind of threat to any nation because the human immune system is so strong and so varied from person to person. The only threat is government overreach in protecting us from this flu.

Second/third hand anecdotes:
My son in Utah (mask-mandated) reports that a fellow worker signed up for a Covid test but didn't take it. Weeks later he gets a notice that he tested positive. I told him this was not new as these reports had been coming in for weeks.

He goes to a bank for a boat loan and talks with the officer, who says she and the crew are fed up, as they get headaches from the masks. He mentions the above and she says "I'll go you one better. Grandpa, who smoked like a chimney, just died at 65 with lung cancer. The doc comes around and asks if it's OK to put the cause of death down as Covid-19."

She didn't say what they did, but at the least. I would have been a wise-ass and ask for half of what the govt paid for that case.

A co-worker related that his best friend’s family member was a rabid, mask-wearing, covid nazi.

Her parents went to get tested in a suburb of Denver, got out of line because it was moving so slow, went home, and received notification a week later that they tested positive.

The mask-wearing covid nazi now doesn’t believe anything about the numbers we’re being force fed.

Conversion to the truth is a biotch sometimes.
