If even one minute of one session Takes place, fire the entire senior leadership at CDC.

In this case, I’d just find the finance guy who approved the funds transfer, and fire him immediately. Next guy showing up for the job, will tell the idiots pushing for the training to get out of their face and refuse to sign the paperwork for the contract.
Supposedly we are still in the middle of a global pandemic and CDC is a vital agency in this battle. CDC politicized leadership abandons that priority in the face of sweeping infection, refusing to face its enemy, Disease, and shunts its forces off line for three months to play politics and leftist brainwashing.
It does this directly violating the Executive Branch Order.
Not appropriate for thirteen hours or days, let alone weeks. Terminate the leadership and facilitators.
Fire everyone. Maybe replace them.
Direct insubordination to a direct order is a basis for firing them all.
