At the beginning of September, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget announced that, at President Trump’s direction, all federal agencies would be banned from imposing Critical Race Theory (“CRT”) on their employees. This was the right thing to do. CRT is pure racism. While the KKK was obsessed with blacks and the Nazis were obsessed with Jews, CRT is obsessed with white people. Teaching it at federal agencies is a shocking violation of the Constitution and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Despite its unconstitutionality and the President’s order, though, the CDC is planning to continue CRT training.
Christopher Rufo, who has become the point man for all of these stories about CRT training in the federal government, discovered what he aptly called a “BOMBSHELL.” The CDC is going ahead with its plan – paid for with your money – to impose a thirteen-week long CRT training program on its employees.
This an important story because it is a nexus of the issues that brought Trump into the White House in 2016. It’s the story of an out-of-control federal agency that feels that no one – and certainly not the constitutional executive of the United States – has any authority over it.
This is the Deep State and the Big Government that Trump promised to bring to heel. He’s fought hard, but he’ll need more than four years to destroy this monster. That’s especially true because the monster managed to burn up the first two years of his administration with the Russia Hoax. It then leveraged the hoax into gaining control of the House for the Democrats.

Exactly. Bring the director into the Oval Office, order him to cancel the training. If he refuses, fire him on the spot for insubordination and call in the deputy director. Rinse and repeat until you find someone who wants to keep their job.

A federal judge might try, but judges have zero jurisdiction over security clearances, those are the sole purview of the President, and nobody can work in the federal government if their security clearance is revoked.

The messaging is going to be: "Don't bother voting for Trump because we are not going to let him stay even if he wins, and if you vote for him anyway, you take your chances because we can find you".

You think the director of the CDC doesn’t need a security clearance? That’s a matter of fact, not a point of opinion to “disagree” about.
The job description defines what clearances, if any are needed. A director of CDC may need one, or maybe not. Obama had many positions that required clearances filled with people who couldnt complete a background check.

I was speaking in a certain context of higher federal appointees, I really didn’t think anyone was stupid enough to think I meant every mailman and park ranger needs a security clearance. The only “mistake” I made was underestimating how many nitpickers are around here.

Definitely needs one. The department deals with biowarfare-related threats, of course the director needs a security clearance.

Yes, and so did Bill Clinton, but that is irrelevant. The President can choose to order his subordinate agencies to override the typical clearance requirements for his appointees that don’t qualify, but if Trump is revoking someone’s clearance, he certainly isn’t going to do that, and he is the only person who could do that.
