The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, youll be solving them all within a few days. If youre stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hals Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please dont put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
Solution to our last puzzle. Simply scroll your cursor over the text while left clicking your mouse, and the words should appear.
HE WHO CAN AT ALL TIMES SACRIFICE PLEASURE TO DUTY APPROACHES SUBLIMITY. LAXATER
First word plus contraction.
Todays Cryptogram is NOT from The Arkansas Gazette, and its an easy one for you seasoned solvers, in fact, for an added challenge try solving it word for word.
3 minutes is good
2 minutes is excellent
90 seconds is superior
That was lightening speed!
You solved it before my second post!
Strong covfefe.

Yup. L'accent aigu, over the final letter in the last name, like W.C. Field's character in The Bank Dick
Took a shot at the first name, and never even looked, it was just typing after that. This is one you can do with your eyes closed.
1 minute.
Contraction, first word, second word, off to the races.
Kind of slow on the uptake today. About 4 minutes. Never heard of the author and after googling the name I see why
