Last night a dinner guest told me his sister, attending Bryant, was at a COVID party. it was interesting to hear first hand, instead of speculation, that our young people are trying to get it and just be over it. We did that with chicken pox back in the day. My son HAD to be tested for COVID before he could attend a class on campus (not Bryant) - just the one time though, so I guess they are not worried about them spreading the Rona around afterwards ;)
I hope the statistician who follows your thread so closely will break out the college age and younger kids out, but I know that won't happen because it destroys the argument about not returning to school.
It's funny, in the Spring, I suggested to several acquaintances that we send all the kids to COVID Camp for six weeks during the summer. They can spread it around right away, carry on and do normal camps stuff, then return home safely. Back-to-school would have been no issue and all the fat-ass, high risk teachers wouldn't have to be making out their wills and being bussed around for protests.

The only one I know of here in OK is the one that was unilaterally imposed by OKC's mayor. He decreed that masks would be mandated until November 30. However, when OKC's City Council met not long after that, they changed the expiration date to October 20 -- a full month earlier than Mayor Holt's previous decree. Almost like they were clipping his wings.

Wonder what Holt thought of that?

What shocks me more than people not protesting masks with demonstrations at state houses and such is that people are not using masks themselves as a form of protest. The disposable paper ones can be written on so easily.

Sounds like the youngsters aren’t as dumb as we suspected. In fact, they sound more enlightened than their parents are.

And the Covid Camp is a very good idea. Sadly, having an immune population doesn’t fit with the left’s narrative of instilling extreme fear among the citizens in preparation for the election. The teacher caught on audio last week saying it’s all about the election pretty much let the cat out of their evil bag.

Anybody catch the Trump rally in Minden, NV last night?  Trump dissed the Gestapo Guv. Sissypant several times, it was awesome.

Trump was intitially to hold the rally here in Reno but somehow Sisolak managed to strongarm the campaign (apparently) to cancel it, yet the Trump campaign found a way to move it.

Trump mentioned that he had to take a 50-minute ride from the Reno airport to Minden in the middle of nowhere desert (hazy smoke from CA wildfires too) - cursory math suggests that the attendees to this rally outnumbered the native population in something like 5:1, in less than 24 hours!

The chairs were put together normally and some reported 25K were NOT wearing masks, (required indoors) yet as a state we are still locked mostly down.

Yet only 50 people are limited in churches here, Trump did say at the rally that this 'event' was a 'protest' and one can conclude it was under these auspices that he bitch-slapped Sisiolak and held the rally.

It was a great place to be away from Fearper Commie Gummit, more proof of an over-reaction CV19 swindle.

Speaking of dinner, we went to a bar-restaurant last night on Rt 8 south of Butler, the place was packed and everyone was having fun.

They had a coupla guys playing guitars and singing and the atmosphere was wonderful.

The food was excellent but more important, just seeing people out enjoying themselves was spectacular.

This was a group of golfers and the ratio was 8-1 Trump, but we didn't talk politics, we just wanted to have fun and we did.
