I wonder why they didn’t have Mulan played by a black actress, like they are doing with the Little Mermaid. Hmmm.
$30? I’d balk at $3.
I’ve got Disney+ for the good, older films and cartoons.
I shall avoid the Wuhan Mulan film, like the plague. The toon version years ago was a drag, anyway.
When Disney puts Song Of The South back out in theaters then they will be relevant to me again.
(Unless there is another Pirates movie.)
Pay $30 bucks to see a movie, and an hour later you want to watch it again.

I recently became a U.S. Citizen. Among all the rights, voting right is the one I cherished a great deal. The same weekend after I became a US citizen, I joined several women to work around a neighborhood and educate voters about the upcoming school board election. At one sidewalk, we encountered a grandma, a young mother and her baby daughter in a stroller, a small family of 3 generations. I asked them if they had voted yet. Both the grandma and the young mother shook their heads. They both said “We don’t vote” and waved their hands as if to get rid of a fly. “But why?” I didn’t understand and I wasn’t going to give up. The young mother just shrugged her shoulders and explained “I don’t like any politicians.” At this moment, I felt that I had to say something “I can understand that you don’t like them. But if you don’t vote, you basically allow bunch of guys you dislike to continue to make decisions you don’t like which will impact your and your baby’s lives. “She didn’t say anything. I handed her some literature about the recall and said “You know, I came from China and I was never given the opportunity to vote for any officials or representatives. It is such a privilege to be able to vote and to get your voice heard. No matter how you feel about the recall, please vote.” She and her mother agreed to read the literature and think about it.
If it becomes free or very inexpensive, I want to see it. The photo made me do it.In other words, you can’t tell the difference between a new Disney movie and a NBA game. LOL
The only Disney characters I like are the characters in the Scrooge McDuck portion of the Disney universe. And those were either cultivated or created by Carl Barks, and the House of Disney didn’t have that much to do with it.
Discovered I still owned some Disney stock in an inherited trust account. Sold it today. As soon as a company goes woke, I sell their stock. Will be going over every investment tonight to ensure I have no “woke” companies.
An interesting and principled stance on why live-action “Mulan” should be boycotted. Similar to my great-grandparents boycotting “The Godfather” because they thought it would turn back the clock on acceptance of Italian Americans. I personally love “The Godfather” but I can see how it contributed to stereotypes of Italians.
saw it last night as daughter rented it... it was just ok...the heart and depth of the characters was lacking. The original was far far better. The original is actually one of my favorite Disney movies...very funny with Eddie Murphy and really heartfelt.
Unlike many so-called conservatives, I have not been to a movie theater since 1999. I refuse to to support these commie morons.

In all fairness, fidelity to family was also present in the original as well. Let’s not forget that a large part of the reason why Mulan illegally joined the military was specifically to prevent her father from becoming a redshirt when he received his conscription notice.
But yeah, fidelity to the state was NEVER part of the original. Mulan literally breaking the law by even joining the military and refusing a job from the Emperor in the ending should have been a big hint it wasn’t that.
