When the Bengals start the 2020 season with a home game against the Chargers, the Bengals may be starting the game with a powerful statement.
Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the Bengals are considering whether to stay in the locker room or to collectively kneel during the national anthem. Dragons report is based on multiple unnamed sources, reflecting internal discussions among the players.

I remember when Bush the Younger was pilloried by The Left for stating "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists".

Well, many of us will be watching TCM or Antenna or perhaps a nice outdoor activity as opposed to watching when they are in their locker room or kneeling.

Yeah, not carrying, at all. Why? I long stopped watching the likes of the NFL, NBA, NooseCar, MLB, etc., etc. and college football keep it up, going to drop their arses too.

In related news, BLM will gather in the parking lot before the scheduled looting spree. Antifa will meet online to discuss arson plans for Friday.

They may still in the locker room, but the last song they play before the encore will be Walk Like an Egyptian.

Both teams can take 30 seconds to kneel for whatever reason. Once that 30 seconds is over, they stand for the National Anthem.

Don’t care, won’t be watching football at all. Curling, now that’s a real sport and that’s what I’ll be watching.

The Bengals should stay in the locker room for the entire game. Then fans would not have to witness their ineptitude.

Agreed. Nick Saban is working hard to make it so this life long Bama fan has no desire to watch football.

All of these professional sports teams have to be hemorrhaging money.

Like the world needs MORE reasons to ignore the Bengals.

Sadly no. They have locked-in big money television and sponsorship contracts that run years into the future. It matters to them little anymore whether your butt ever lands in a stadium seat.
Of course after an extended period of time ESPN would be forced to file bankruptcy, and THEN they might have a problem.

The dems will make sure to throw enough money at Pro Sports to keep it floating, and likely...to be funded with tax payer money I bet. Trust me, they’ve figured out the money thing, and they don’t care whatsoever if we don’t wanna watch. They are building a society meant to exclude us, and once they have it in place, all they need to do is terminate us.
To: C19fan
Pretty soon they will be getting down on both knees praying people will watch their games on TV or from the stands.

Democrats have been subsidizing pro sports with our money for decades. They all play in taxpayer funded stadiums. We owned more money on Three Rivers Stadium the day it was demolished than we did on the day it opened.
