Merkel will use strongly-worded condemnations while still seeking cheap gas from Putin.

Merkel and Putin are two of a kind.

Navalny never caught on as an “opposition leader” in Russia and now it looks like his deep state handlers have deemed him expendable.

It will be interesting to see of Merkel falls for this obvious poisoning ruse and cancels the energy pipeline.

It will also be interesting to see how quickly Navalny “recovers” once her decision is made.

Obama refused to sanction Nordstream 2 over the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This would be another foreign policy win for POTUS.

But the news media told me Trump was all for Putin killing people, and wasn’t doing anything about it.

Next thing you know, environmentalists will be telling us how great this pipeline is.

he President tied the matter to his often-stated desire for NATO countries other than the U.S. to step up their defense spending.

Nice stab-in-back wording here by Mr Meyer by making it appear that the US is exempting itself from increasing defense spending. In the near decade since the ENTIRE NATO Signatories agreed to up defense spending to 2% GDP, The United States has exceeded 3% for every year. Germany, a very prosperous country with considerable trade surpluses has moved its defense spending from 1 to 1.5%. This is just one of the reasons that PDJT is reducing US Military presence in Germany and incresing it in Poland.

Is there some reason Germany shouldn’t get the best deal on gasoline imports which would be via Nordstream2?

Isn’t that being a good steward of German $$?

I can’t help but think that all the Russia, Russia, Russia stuff is just a precursor to our usual Modus Operandi.

Anyone whose resources we want is deemed bad. Syria is an active example, and we desire the same for Venezuela. The Bear is gonna bite back.

If Germany doesn’t buy from Russia, surely China will, won’t they?
