Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger III, the retired pilot best known for successfully pulling off the “Miracle on the Hudson,” tore into President Trump in a series of Twitter posts Friday.
Mr. Sullenberger, who served in the U.S. Air Force before starting his civil aviation career, slammed Mr. Trump over disparaging remarks he reportedly made about service-members.
“While I am not surprised, I am disgusted by the current occupant of the Oval Office. He has repeatedly and consistently shown himself to be completely unfit for and to have no respect for the office he holds,” Mr. Sullenberger, 69, said on Twitter.

This guy is several years past peak fame. The Hollywood party invitations and other opportunities have thinned out.
Now he’s that sad guy trying to talk his way past the new bouncer at the trendy nightclub. The one he used to get into.

Best way I can explain it is that somebody else passed gas and the MSM wants President Trump to apologize for it because they hate him.
Just imagine leading troops into battle after only listening to one perspective the story about the situation at hand. He owes President Trump an apology.

Now let’s hear from a pilot who didn’t fly his plane into a goose.
In addition, he did not accomplish that landing alone. Airliners are flown with a crew and the responsibilities are divided. It has always made me wonder that after they crowned him “king of the air”, you never saw his copilot or flight crew again. At the least, the 1st officer had to have played a big role in the landing and the cabin crew in safely evacuating the passengers. I’ve seen the 1st officer once, on a reality show, might have been Mythbusters, and he was running a flight small school/air service in the Southwest.
Gets famous crashing planes. Becomes an asshole in politics. Where have we seen that before?
