One of the oldest tricks in the book is for the Dems to check who has voted on election day and send in for last minute voting people who to be those who didn’t vote.
I bet they’d love your system!

Depends on your state, and perhaps which county within your state. In Michigan, I can check online to see if they received my ballot. If it is challenged, I can see that as well. The URL is in the instructions.

Does verifying mail-in ballots interfere with secret balloting?

I will be voting in person, probably on the first day. In my county, they use paper ballots that are machine readable. When you put the ballot in the ballot box, it get read and tallied immediately. You also get to see the count go up by one. IMHO the best system.

Can confirm by trying to vote in person. Not in every state. For example, apparently doing that in Maryland causes both ballots to be rejected. That is a ridiculous law, but that's what the Maryland government has said.

You can track the status of your absentee ballot in New Hampshire. Some other states provide a mechanism for doing that as well.
Check your own state's laws.

Can confirm by trying to vote in person.

Tying to vote in person and doing so are two different things.
I took that to mean that was an attempt to see if they had a
record of his mail in vote jmo

You can in Florida. We voted by mail in the primary, called and were told our votes had been received and recorded.

We can do it in Arizona but I don't trust Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes as far as I can throw him. You can verify that your vote was received and counted, but who knows who it was fully or partially counted for - or if it was really counted at all?
With corrupt election officials in place, the actual mechanics of balloting are not really the critical issue.

Michigan doesn’t start counting until election day. So no way to confirm your mail in ballot.

So what does a person do if the DEMS shut down polling locations in Republican neighborhoods by not having Dem staff show up? Can I go to another precint to vote in person? If I can’t it may screw me to vote in person.

Your first assumption is wrong-—NOT every voter has a computer. Where I live, that are properties within 4 miles of me who are OFF THE GRID—no computer——

-NOT every voter has a computer.
Yeah that argument is waaaay to vague to be even considered a valid point. Your point being that a 1:500 ratio for voters without internet is about as lame as it gets. Think about it. Phone app? Hello?

. Impossible. There is nothing partisan about voting.

Can you still mail it certified return receipt? Also, what’s the deal with not putting a postmark on mail in ballots. There’s no proof it was mailed past a deadline.

Yeah that is true... and it also would not preclude the voter fraud talked about the other day where the guy said they opened the envelopes and switched ballots out... I avoided the mail entirely by dropping mine in an early voting box for the primary.
