“The duck was a symbol of honesty, simplicity and resourcefulness - we probably all need to channel our inner duck.”

More about ducks than you want to know. This is not safe for work and it is not safe for children, but it is pretty funny. You really don’t want to channel your ‘inner duck’.

The 2,000-year-old remains of a dog with its fur still intact have been found at a Roman fort.

The rare find was made at Vindolanda, Hexham, near Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland, and has been sent for analysis to determine the dog's breed...

It must be Wallter, because one thing about these old guys.. they never leave the house without their hair.

It’s motto was “Serenity Now!”

It was found in Vindolana Phase III.

BTW I’m in Pensacola. How far is that from Del Boca Vista? I may want to retire down here!

Wish I’d had the chance to get to Vindolanda during my two trips to the UK, but there’s never enough time to do all the things you want to do. Too old now. I’ll have to settle for news articles instead.

Other finds included an 1,800-year-old skull of a beheaded native Briton that was stuck on a spike...

Sorta want to hear more about that...who cares about ducks n dogs....

Todd says, as President, he'll order an investigation to trace any genealogical links.
