As you say, 6+ years old. But 45% of viewership of the NBA was black, while 40% was white and 12% was Hispanic. That might explain why the drop for the playoffs is *only* 23%. Black Americans are still supporting the NBA.

The one thing nba players can NOT do is actually play the game. They cannot dribble, shoot nor play defense. All they can do is run down the court and slam dunk to make the tv highlights.

Folks are hungry for content and looking for something to do.
Recognizing all the eyeballs available to tune in, Sports changes course and broadcasts politics and the Kapernick nonsense.

You would think with everybody home, people would especially want to watch sports on TV.
Maybe a lot of people are turned off hearing a bunch of millionaires in sports uniforms lecturing about how miserable and oppressed they are and how whitey is to blame for all their problems.
