I always threatened death to anyone who used my fabric shears for paper.
My kids grew up with that being the 11th Commandment.

The Diva from ‘Fifth Element’ would be neat, and not too hard.

You’d look just like a pig-tailed, corn-fed Wisconsin girl - I’m sure...

That sounds like an idea!
But they are all grown and moved out now, but still, they know better.
Even mr. mm won’t touch my fabric shears. He knows better, too.

Tell. Us. Everything! EVERYTHING! ;)
I’m adding you to our Ping List, regardless! Ignore us if you want. ;)
We just started this thread 6 months ago or so. More traffic in the winter months when we’re not all out gardening and mowing our lawns and have TIME to create, LOL!

We finally got around to watching, ‘The Notebook’ this past winter. It was recommended by one of Beau’s ‘Manly Man’ hunting buddies!
It was SO sweet! And both of us cried. And I’m pretty sure the ‘Manly Man’ that recommended the movie cried, too - but they shall NEVER speak of it again, LOL!
I have, ‘La La Land’ in the queue right now; it’ll be my SECOND ‘Ryan’ experience, and if he can dance as well as he looks, I’ll probably be a fan for life. ;)
He’s NO Tom Selleck, and certainly NOT a ‘Vintage 1972’ Paul Newman, but you pays your money and you takes your chances. ;)

I think I’ve read one Nicholas Sparks book - ‘Nights in Rodanthe’ - because I was familiar with the region.
I don’t recall being very impressed; but I’ll check him out further, on your recommendation.

The movie was good. I can’t read the mushy books; that’s the only movie I’ve seen of the Sparks books.
I think, ‘Nights in Rodanthe’ was Richard Gere and Diane Lane?
Remember what a big splash, ‘The Bridges of Madison County’ was, back in the day?
I’d find it a little hard to resist a ‘vintage’ Clint Eastwood, too. ;)
If Meryl Streep would just keep her d@mn mouth shut about her politics, I could respect her more as an actress. I mean she has REALLY brought it to the Big Screen through the years.
‘Sophie’s Choice’ ripped my heart out! But - it was an excellent NOVEL to begin with.
