I’ve thought that was true for a long time. But post-Q, I think GHWB & BJ were on the same team. So, does that mean that all 3 of them were in cahoots? Or was there something else going on? Did RP know that B & C were in cahoots? Was the 3d party vote drain needed because GHWB couldn’t lose convincingly without it? Was GHWB tired of being president? Something else he turned his attention to?
Any guesses about how many in the Clinton circle had the full picture? Do you suppose G. Steph knew the extent of the corruption?
I’ve learned a LOT about the DS, but still have far more questions than answers. Any insights you have would be welcome!

I don’t know for sure. But I definitely picked up a disdain for GHWB from RP. It might have had something to do with failure of government to act when his employees were threatened in another country?? I can’t recall exactly the details.
There was a guy that was interviewed on you tube several times, and he said that the plan was actually to get rid of Clinton so Al Gore could be President. Presumably, Gore was not a member of the crime family—but I never could get on board with that theory.
I do think RP was hoping to start a new party that would become lasting force that would be for Americans and prevent that huge sucking sound of jobs sucked to Mexico etc.
Unfortunately, that party was totally scuttled after RP.
