A shame some once called fireflies a common product of summer. In today’s world they are seldom seen. Are they missed? Yes, by some. We continue to search, faithful that one day we shall find them in quantity once again.
Blessings...
Beautiful. Thank you.
Welcome to our world. You’ll find many different subjects being discussed here. Of course, there is ALWAYS politics.
However, there is a group who discuss cooking, threads for science, astronomy, archeology, a prayer circle for our nation/POTUS. Should you need any help, all you need do is ask. Seeing that you’ve learned to post beginning a thread, you could more than likely teach others before asking to be taught yourself. :-)
The aroma of Mimosa, the key unlocking the mystery found in the movie “The Uninvited” of years ago (1944/starring Ray Miland)
You’ve an eloquent style in writing. And your choice of subjects (all dear to this heart).
Sharing this with you in the hope that you might find some inspiration in continuing to inspire others.

Again, welcome and please accept apologies for the delay in doing so!
One of the glories of rural life is the firefly. When we first moved to Georgia, we rented the 2nd floor of a large farmhouse overlooking a valley where the neighbor’s horse grazed.
One starry July night we witnessed a grove of 3 or 4 large trees filled with dozens of fireflies blinking on and off. It was as if God had created a huge Christmas tree for us to watch.
Praise be to God. And Thanksgiving to Him for all our Earthly blessings — the little things we fail to notice right in front of our eyes.
Thank you for your post. I echo VKLees invitation to the places on FR that offer us a place of refuge and a fruitful battlefield.
