Just a couple of observations. First, what was a 17 yr old doing..after curfew carrying a loaded rifle? Where did he get the rifle?

Secondly, did someone ask him to protect their business? Was he related to someone who owned a business under attack?

This young man placed himself in a position to get into trouble. Sorry, just the way it is.

That all said, the young man will likely not be convicted of 1st degree murder. Good for him. Bad for him is that he will most likely be pressured to accept a lesser charge and be tried as an adult.

I hope he walks, but man, should have let the authorities handle the riots.

He was there ALL DAY cleaning up after the riots the night before, he was there with Scott Presley’s group that does cleanup in ALL of the cities across the country!! Scott is a HUGE Trump supporter he has done cleanup in Baltimore, LA, SF, !!!

Granted, a 17 y/o should not have been put or allowed himself to be put in that situation but once there he did what he had to do to survive (and I do mean that literally). If he has a half-decent lawyer he will never plead to anything with jail time or permanent loss of rights involved.

All he has to do is demand a jury trial and they will never find 12 citizens who would all vote for conviction. Most of the good citizens are very tired of rioting.
