Illinois teen Kyle Rittenhouse charged in fatal shooting of two Kenosha protesters
A 17-year-old Illinois man has been charged in the shooting death of two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, late Tuesday, according to a report.
Kyle Rittenhouse has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Molly Beck posted on Twitter Wednesday.
He was part of the group of armed men at the scene. We have been identifying them as a local militia group. Rittenhouse hails from Antioch, Illinois — about 12 miles away across state lines.

At one point the police officers in one of the armored vehicles tossed out water bottles to some of the armed young men at the location where the shooting happened. The police were very friendly with the armed citizens.
That interaction was recorded on one of the live streams, although that streamer has now removed public access to the videos.
“I don’t think a jury will look upon that very favorably.”

He’s definitely not going to walk on a gun charge. He’ll probably take a plea deal on the rest rather than risk a long sentence.

That’s interesting and points to the strong possibility that Mr. Rittenhouse was indeed deputized.
Maybe the kid has some Indian blood like Warren.
I am waiting for his 8th grade picture to show up in the news.
And he only shot the rioters who were armed and closing on him. The black guy who kicked him in the head and jumped over him was not armed. Purely self-defense.
He lives in Illinois. He drove up to Kenosha just to show off what a big boy he is. He should’ve stayed home. Hes no hero

There was a guy walking around with the rioters who had a shotgun slung over his shoulder.
Was the young guy watching that live video?
