He’ll walk, just like the police officers will.


He’s definitely not going to walk on a gun charge. He’ll probably take a plea deal on the rest rather than risk a long sentence.

What gun charge it is legal for a 17yoa to process a firearm in Wis.

Open carry is legal in Wis.

It is not illegal to transport one across stater lines.

so please explan

What gun charge? Whoever provided the firearm is the one in trouble here.

Wisconsin is an open carry state.

There is a Wisconsin statue prohibiting possession by a minor, unless hunting. It is a class A misdemeanor.

Providing a firearm to a minor, when the minor discharges the firearm and death results, is a class D felony.
