Think you can go two days without social media or Netflix? A Salt Lake City company is willing to pay you $1,000 to do a digital detox in an RV for 48 hours.
If you are interested in overcoming Zoom fatigue, this is a contest that will pay you to go offline in an RV at one of Americas national parks.
They wont supply you with the RV, but they will reimburse you for the rental if you win, separate from the $1,000 prize.

I basically went without TV during my tour in Germany from 77-81. I lived a dozen miles off base, too far to get the AFN signal. The TV my landlords lent me had 2 German stations.
Coping was easy...I'm very comfortable in a solo environment...lol. Besides reading a lot, I mixed my own cassettes (I usually bought a dozen albums a month at the Base Exchange). Came back with 8 boxes of cassettes and over 400 albums.
There was plenty to explore in my neck of the woods, and lots of winefests during the summer along the Mosel River. Those rare long weekends would find me 400 miles north in Lutjenberg, hanging out with the friends I made during a TDY assignment during the summer of 79.
Never had that much off time. My first two years were at Hahn AB, mostly as a platoon leader. My last two years were at Spangdahlem, mostly as Battalion Supply Officer. There was a bit more time off at Spang, as I didn't have to pull staff duty officer more than a couple of times a month.
Fast forward to today, 48 days would seem like a vacation after sheltering in place with my lovely bride of 30+ years.
lol
Thanks for the ping, Cletus. Good idea. Can we drive alone? Can we park it in the dark forest campgrounds or out here in the open fields...where individuals have worked, fought, died for their families, their republics, their collectives, their meals? We could have rational discussion without hidden agendas with other individuals at the open field campground fire well into the night and the dawns early light...60/60/24/7/365 until the end of our days. That RVehicle could be called Free Republic. What a vehicle it is.

Well, that is a possibility but, you would have to fill me in when I got back from a full day of fishing.
